Tropic Wings runs this tour in an electric vehicle, and it stays south of the Daintree River ferry, which keeps the driving well short of the Cape Tribulation tours. We had Dom as our guide, and he was the best guide anyone could ask for! He could explain everything about every animal and every bush and was also flexible in accommodating special requests for the tour. During the long drive, he incorporated stops to show us even more of the area and give us time to explore. At the wildlife habitat, we had a short tour with a local guide and were able to feed the animals. At Mossman Gorge, we learned about Aboriginal culture, and Dom was able to explain so much more about the culture and the rainforest. On the boat trip, we spotted several crocodiles, both small and large. It was a truly wonderful day, and a huge thank you to Dom!

Does this tour go to Cape Tribulation?

No. It stays south of the Daintree River ferry, visiting the Wildlife Habitat, Mossman Gorge and the river cruise. That keeps the driving shorter, but if Cape Tribulation Beach is on your list, choose one of the Cape Trib tours on this site.
