Tropic Wings builds this full day around wildlife and the far side of the Daintree River. Hotel pickup runs from selected accommodation in Cairns, Palm Cove and Port Douglas, and the first major stop is the Wildlife Habitat near Port Douglas, where a guided visit takes you through its savannah, rainforest, wetlands, nocturnal and grassland zones.

From there the coach crosses the Daintree River on the cable ferry and heads deep into the forest for a tropical lunch at Cape Tribulation. Afterwards there is time on the white-sand beach at Cape Tribulation, a guided rainforest walk and a stop at Alexandra Lookout over the Daintree River and the Coral Sea.
